Practices That Improve Technology and AI Adoption

Oct 29, 2026

Effective AI adoption starts with understanding the work and the people doing it.

In CIO Grid’s “IT Leaders Share Practices That Improve Technology Adoption,” Knowmadics Chief Product and Technology Officer, Dr. Michael Jenkins, discusses how human expertise and controlled experimentation help organizations put AI into practice.

“The people closest to the work understand the internal processes, the pain points and the unwritten rules that no tool knows on its own,” Jenkins explains.

He recommends testing tools on realistic, non-critical work and evaluating their value, including the time spent verifying and correcting outputs, before introducing them into everyday workflows.
